- Description
- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAA AMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's intent to contract with a selected firm using single source procedures. The FAA has a requirement to upgrade the Web Facility Service and Equipment Profile (FSEP) system. Unisys Corporation was the sole designer and developer of the Web FSEP system. Unisys Corporation developed all of the software modules and associated web pages that manage the official repository within the Web FSEP SQL database. Unisys configured the database scheme, the data transformation services and the data communication components necessary for trnsmit Web FSEP information. Unisys has unique knowledge and expertise of the Web FSEP system. Therefore, award of this effort to enhance the Web FSEP system shall be given to Unisys Corporation. A competitive solicitation will not be available for this procurement.
