- This acquisition is 100% setaside for eligible 8(a) firms. Offerors must maintain a principal office within 275 miles of the VA Medical Center, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212. Offers from concerns other that 8(a) or with a principal office located beyond 275 miles will not be considered. Furnish all labor, material, equipment and supervision to complete the project for Ward Upgrade Phase 3 for Patient Privacy at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN 37212. Work involves the renovation of approximately 18,000 SF of the medical nursing unit on the 2nd floor, Ward 2 North and construction of approximately 4,000 SF of new mechanical penthouse space on the 4th floor roof for south wing HVAC equipment. Work includes architectural, electrical power and systems, plumbing, medical gas, mechanical, fire protection, structural (steel) and industrial hygiene/abatement. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. Performance period is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS Code is 236220. Pre-bid site inspections are scheduled on August 4, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. and August 11, at 10:00 a.m. Prospective offerors should meet in Engineering Suite, Room 1-G126 at the VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
