Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to modify a previous one, USA-SNOTE-040713-001. The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, on behalf of the National Bio- defense Analysis & Countermeasures Center (NBACC), intends to negotiate with Prism on an other than full and open competitive basis for modification and enhancement of its existing Prism software system. The modifications to Prism EquationNet software wil l provide enhanced data collection capabilities and deploy the system to other project offices within NBACC. Interested firms must demonstrate the capability to modify existing prism software, including evidence, such as a letter or license from Prism, of the legal ability to do so. Any firm that believes it can meet these requirements is invited to submit written notification to the Contract Specialist within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furni shed in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to meet the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. If no responses ar e received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
