- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in Atlanta, GA is currently in the process of preparing to hold the 2005 NCIPC Injury Conference in conjunction with The State and Territorial Injury Prevention Directors Association (STIPDA). STIPDA is the State and Terrorital Injury Prevention Directors Association, one of the Injury Center's key partners and co-sponsor. STIPDA is an established and formal partner of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) and the National Association of Injury Control Research Center (NAICRC). We require an organization that knows the science and programs of injury prevention/safety, CDC's Injury Center's partners, and CDC's Injury Center and for the 2005 Injury Conference. STIPDA is the non-profit co-sponsor to assist with and manage registration. The NCIPC co-sponsor creates, manages and oversees all aspects of conference registration, in addition to serving on the Conference Planning Committee. This notice is issued for information purposes only. Any interested party may identify themselves to the contracting office no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this announcement. Submit information to Kimberly Groves, MS-1019, Reference: 2004-Q-01439, DHHS/PHS/CDC, 1095 Willowdale Road, Morgantown, WV 26505. Award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C.(c)(1). No solicitation will be issued. If no responses are received within 15 days, award will be made to STIPA-Atlanta without further notices being issued. The decision of whether to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the contracting officer. All responses received shall be considered by the Government.
