Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 442210 size standard is 500 employees. The following is intended to be purchased for the Government: (45) 9-foot x 12-foot industrial grade carpets. Color: Multi-Colored Products (color to match local soil colors of brown and red); Surface/Style: Level Loop, Multi-Level Loop, Textured Loop, or Cut & Loop; Static: 3.5kv (max-not to exceed); Indoor Air Qual ity (IAQ): CRI IAQ Certification; Flammability - Radiant Panel Test: Class II (min) NBS Smoke: less than 450 Flaming Mode; Tuft Bind (dry): 8lbs, all products (16-20 lbs suggested for unitary backing); Delamination: Secondary backed products, 3.5lbs; Dimensional Stability: Removable modular products, 0.2% or less; Colorfastness: light, 4 or better (60 AFU 3 cycles) Colorfastness: ozone, 4 or better after 2 cycles Colorfastness; crocking, 4 or better (wet & dry) Colorfastness: water, 4 or better, AATCC Transference Scale (only yarn dyed carpets)(grade change in color and staining) Soil Resist Treatment: minimum average of 350 ppm fluorine on pile fiber of 3 separate tests. PLEASE PROVIDE CUT/SPECIFICATION SHEETS FOR THE CARPET YOU SUPPLY A QUOTE FOR. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr2000.com. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Item. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision with their quotation. The following provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. This solicitation incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in ful l text.
