Description
Indefinite Delivery Type Contract with Base Term, plus Two (2) One Year Term Options. Trunk, Physical Training Uniform, Air Force I/A/W CRFD/PD 04-07/JUNE 2004 - Base Year ? 100,000 EA Min/300,000 EA Max, First Year Option -100,000 EA Min/300,000 EA Max , Second Year Option 100,000 EA Min/320,000 EA Max. Delivery locations CONUS. Solicitation will be issued using negotiated method of procurement. Trade-off procedures apply: Product Demonstration Model, Experience/Past Performance. Successful offeror will be awarded the entire contract, therefore offeror must bid on base year, and all option years. All offerors are required to be registered with the DOD Central Contractor Register to be eligible for award. You can access this register on the web at www.ccr.gov. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER 16 July 2004. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. THIS SYNOPSIS IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: SECOND YEAR OPTION QUANTITY IS CORRECTED AS FOLLOWS: MINIMUM QUANTITY 100,000/ 300,000 MAXIMUM QUANTITY. ALL OTHER INFORMATION REMAINS UNCHANGED.
