- Air Force Research Laboratory, (AFRL/HE ) solicits research proposals for the Human Effectiveness Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is soliciting white papers under this announcement for innovative technologies to support the development of new technologies to improve force health protection, specifically to appropriately determine, identify, characterize, minimize, prevent personnel exposure to, and improve treatment resulting from exposure to biological, radiological, and/or chemical environmental hazards. Efforts will focus on continual and rapid evaluation, validation and transition assistance of new off-the-shelf technologies, and earmarking emerging technologies to fill critical gaps in force protection, rapid diagnostics, epidemiology, and preventive medicine. Technologies sought will be smaller, lighter, easier to use and sustain, consistent with AEF mission requirements.
