Description: This will be a firm-fixed price unrestricted contract. Period of performance is 01 September 2004 through 30 November 2004. Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to blast dense Blue Rock bas alt from the Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) quarry on the Island of Hawaii, and to provide a Rock Crusher on-site to produce a total of 85,000 tons of Crushed Basalt Gravel (30,000 tons of 3 and a half inch aggregate and 55,000 tons of 2 inch minus). The is sue date for this solicitation is estimated to be on or about 22 July 2004. Response date above is estimated.
