Description

SYNOPSIS ?????? CONTAINER OVERHAUL/REPAIR The solicitation will be for requirements type contract for a base year and 2 option years. This procurement is RESTRICTED to HUBZone small business. DESCRIPTION. Pick up, refurbish and overhaul, and deliver reusable metal component and subassembly containers to Anniston Army Depot ANAD, Anniston, Alabama, on as needed basis. Containers will be picked up from ANAD, refurnished and overhauled at Cont ractor site according to Department of the Army Technical Bulletin 9-289 dated 30 Oct 97, and returned to ANAD. Container sizes vary from 4 ft x 4 ft x 5 ft to 8 ft x 8 ft x 6 ft. Container empty weight from approximately 600 pounds to 3500 pounds. Esti mate base year minimum 500, maximum 1500 overhauled containers. Estimate option years minimum 280, maximium 840. Exact specifications and requirements will be explained the solicitation. Estimated solicitation issue date is 30 Jul 04. Estimated Offer Due Date is 29 Aug 04. NOTE: This is a reissue of a previous solicitation number W911KF-04-Q-0083 which was cancelled 21 Apr 04. North American Industry Classification System Code is 332420. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation.
