Description

Tentative issue date for the solicitation is 08/02/2004. This requisition is being advertised as a fixed price contract with five optional clins. There are no option years. This procurement is unrestricted. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to deconstruct various buildings on Fort Monroe, Virginia. Work includes removing the buildings, salvaging appurtenances and building materials to the maximum extent practicable, recycling what cannot be salvaged for use and restoring the site's grade to its existing contours. The Contractor shall reuse/recycle at least 40 percent to 75 percent (or more) of consturction materials. NAICS Code is 238990. The solicitation will be posted to the Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) website (http://aca-nrcc.eustis.army.mil/) on or about August 2, 2004. No telephone calls will be accepted.
