Description
The US Army ARDEC is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to undertake projects in the area of multi-media presentations. The US Army ARDEC is interested in ideas in multi-media presentations in the area of welding, fabrication, producibility and prototype manufacturing. All interested firms may submit their technical capabilities (1-10 pages) for the above to include all of the following. (1) Application of 3D modeling, animation, and graphic processes of new materials and forms of these materials, to include representations of titanium, aluminum, metal matrix composite materials. (2) Capability to develop robust interactive presentations, briefings, and websites demonstrating manufacturing parameters and technologies in aforementioned processes and materials. (3) Facilities to manufacture, assemble, and test (lab test) presentation media components. (4) Capability to capture data in electronic format and transmit data electronically to other government or industry sources. (5) Extensive Knowledge, experience and facilities for the design, fabrication, inspection, manufacture and assembly of an internet/intranet website and multimedia collateral. (6) Knowledge, experience and facilities for the creation of animation of aero ballistic medium and large caliber projectiles. (7) Ability to generate and maintain technical data in HTLM, PPT, ACAD, MS-Word, PPS, Flash, Swish, Java, ASP or compatible format. (8) Experience in capturing footage of high-speed robotic welding of titanium. (9) Experience developing welding training packages. Any drawings and/or initial experimentation results/test data may be included along with your technical capabilities. These submissions will not count towards your technical capabilities page count limitation. Interested parties shall electronically submit their qualifications and capabilities to meet the specific needs stated above, with supporting rationale by August 5, 2004 to: Mr. Kevin Puma, email address: kpuma@pica.army.mil. Include with your response, The Company's name, address, point of contact with telephone number and email address, size of business (small/large) and team members. Any files intended to be submitted that have been compressed using ZIP software must have their file extensions changed to ".zip-a" in order to be accepted through our security firewalls. This is a market survey/sources sought synopsis for information only and shall not be constructed to be a request for proposal or as an obligation on the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. Please submit information in accordance with government- wide Numbered Note 25.
