The successful contractor will facilitate planning, organizing, and executing directed information technology projects in support of the BIA OIEP School Statistics Initiative (SSI) program. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will provide additional technical details and proposal submission instructions for broad requirements listed in the Public Law 107-110 and delineated in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Bureau of Indian Affairs school system is comprised of a central office primarily in Washington, DC and Albuquerque, NM, 23 (regional) Education Line Offices (ELO), and 187 schools and dormitories located in 23 states in the continental United States. For school year 2003-2004, there were 47,671 students enrolled in BIA schools and dormitories nationwide. A similar number is expected for school year 2004-2005.
