Description

The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing five (5) new 15-k-V vacuum-type, metal-clad circuit breakers into existing metal-clad switchgear cubicles and furnish one (1) spare circuit breaker. The work is located at the Canyon Ferry Powerplant, which is approximately 18 miles east of Helena, Montana in Lewis and Clark County. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for September 14, 2004 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The Solicitation packages will be available on or around August 10, 2004. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 335313. The small business size standard is 750 Employees. This acquisition is full and open. After issuance, the Solicitation (excluding specification paragraphs and drawings) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation (including drawings) contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle . The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. In addition, it is recommended that you register on the online bidders mailing list so that you are notified upon issuance of the solicitation and all subsequent amendments.
