Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the rehabilitation and construction of entrance road and parking lots at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in DeLeon Springs, FL. Work includes but is not limited to: rehabilitating and paving existing gravel road and two existing gravel parking lots; removing existing log car stops and installing concrete stops; stripping parking to accommodate car stops; installing electric entrance gate with electrical timer to lock and unlock gates with underground sensor to let vehicles out after closing hours. Work is to be accomplished in accordance with the drawings and specifications. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237310. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 08/11/04. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401814B012. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award.
