Description

Provide all materials, supplies, equipment, labor, and all other incidentals as necessary to complete the general construction of a ground coupled heating and cooling system for the Trading Post and Ware Room (s) located at Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. Project includes drilling wells, installing a tubing system through the wells and connecting that system to a neighboring building where the tubing shall provide heat transfer liquid for liquid cooled/heated heat pumps. Work also includes the contractor to provide necessary electrical circuiting to accommodate new mechancial equipment. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of the Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Potential offerors will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. No other notifications will be sent. NAICS code is 235110 and the applicable size standard for this project is $11.5 million average annual receipts for the past three years. Estimated price range is between $100,00 and $250,000. Issuance of the Request for Proposal is anticipated on or about August 6, 2004. The Government will consider an offeror's past performance in comparison to its price, with past performance being of greater importance to price and will select the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Only hard copy responses to the Request for Proposal will be considered. Electronic proposals will not be accepted.
