- Description
- This Modification provides details for the planned SAPIENT Industry Day referenced in the "Key Dates" section of the original BAA announcement. The SAPIENT Industry Day will be held on 10 August 2004, at the Executive Conference Center, 3601 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201. Given that the SAPIENT Program is expected to result in access to classified U.S. TOP SECRET/NOFORN information, prospective attendees are required to fax their Visit Authorization Letter (VAL) (SECRET is acceptable) to the DARPA Visitor Control Center (VCC) at (703) 528-3655. Please state the purpose of this visit as ?To attend the SAPIENT Industry Day at the Executive Conference Center.? A $70.00 registration fee is required to cover the cost of the meeting. Registration is required by 05 August 2004. Under no circumstances will anyone be permitted to attend without having an appropriate VAL on file. Each organization may send up to three representatives. DARPA will not provide cost reimbursement for attendance. In addition to sending clearances, prospective attendees are required to register at https://www.schafertmd.com/sapient. Additionally, attendees who would like to share information at the Industry Day may submit a request to make a 5-slide presentation, not to exceed 10 minutes, to discuss their capabilities and innovations related to SAPIENT.
