Description

As indicated above and in the solicitation, the response date for receiving bids is changed to August 24, 2004. REVISED SITE SHOWING INFORMATION: The date, time and place for the site showing remains Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at the Naval Weapons Station Badge Office, Building 302, 1661 Red Bank Road, Goose Creek, South Carolina. IMPORTANT--Each person attending must present a valid, legible state driver?s license in order to obtain a security badge. Current registration and proof of insurance is required for each vehicle. After registering and obtaining security badges at the Pass and Badge Office, the group will proceed to a conference room for a brief meeting and then visit the work sites. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From I-26 near Charleston, SC, merge on to US 78E via exit 205B (Goose Creek exit). Follow the signs for WPNSTA. Shortly after crossing a set of railroad tracks, you will come to a traffic light. Proceed through the light and prepare to make a right hand turn. At the next traffic light turn right on Red Bank Road, a six lane road. Continue on Red Bank Road for about 4 miles. Proceed through the intersection of Red Bank Road and North Rhett (Hardee?s on your right and Sonoco Gas station on your left). Turn left at the first traffic light past the railroad tracks. Building 302 is a two story red brick building on the right. If you are lost, call 843-764-4010 for assistance.
