- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote (RFQ) 047595B is assigned and shall be referenced on any quotation. All incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. The Standard Industrial Code is 7372, (NAICS code is 511210) with a Business Standard of 500 employees. This contract action will result in a Firm Fixed Price - One Time Buy contract, contingent upon availability of funds. The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis, the following item's is manufactured by Foray Technologies of University Place, WA 98466-3817 for seventy-five (75ea) More Hits Image Calibration, model #MHICU; seventy-five (75ea) More Hits Image Calibration Utility Version 2.0 Workstation Licenses, model #MHICUWL; seventy-five (75ea) More Hits Pattern Removal Filter Version 2.5, model #MHPRF and seventy-five (75ea) More Hits Pattern Removal Filter, Version 2.5 Workstation License, model #MHPRFWL. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement of submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after date of publications of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competive procurement. The following clause and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.2121-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (October 2000); Offerors may download the RFQ by accessing the FedBizopps website at www.fedbizopps.gov.: FAR clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2002); FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders- Commercial Items (May 2004). Each Offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (May 2004). FOB-Destination Cheverly, MD 20781 - Responses shall be submitted to the address listed above no later than 4:00pm EST, August 12, 2004, and be clearly marked with RFQ 047595B. No hand carried quotes will be accepted. Faxed quotes will be accepted and, in fact are encourage at (202) 324-3491. The point of contact for all information is Ms. Sandra Y. Due to security requirements, Federal Express, D.H.L., ECT., deliveries for the FBI Headquarters facility are now received at an off-site location. Therefore, the normal response time of 15 days has been extended to 20 days. If your response is not received by the date/time and at the location specified in the announcement, it will not be considered. Award to be made within a week after closing.
