- Description
- Replace Chiller. The work covered under this project shall be performed on Offutt AFB, Bldg. 41, and will include the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment required to replace One Indoor Trane chiller, an Outdoor condenser, associated piping, and Electrical equipment. The new Chiller to be installed is manufactured by McQuay, Model Number AGZ130BM, packaged/split air cooled chiller with the following : micro-processor based controls, unit mounted starters w/non-fused disconnects, chilled water flow switch, insulated remote evaporator with refrigerant specialties, dual refrigerant circuits, scroll compressors with sound reduction package, 208/60/3 electrical, phase failure/under/over voltage protection with LED, condenser coil guards, check test start-up and owners instruction, installation supervision. This will be mounted outside with a matching indoor remote evaporator. There will be new outdoor concrete pads to be provided by the government. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to install the new units, and move the old units out to a point that it can be loaded to a crane by a government employee. All piping, valves, insulation, hangers and associated equipment will be furnished by the contractor. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be posted on or around July 27, 2004. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0127 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ), reference this number on all correspondence. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE 100% SMALL BUSINESS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, and the small business size standard is $12 Million. All quotations must be received via e-mail to Susianne Patterson or TSgt Jean Hinton at the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB 68113-2107 by 11 August 2004 at 3:00pm (CST). Quotes must be valid for 30 days after the date that the quotes are due. A site visit is scheduled for 9:00 am (CST), 4 Aug 2004, at the Bellevue/Offutt Visitor Center on the corner of Ft. Crook and Hwy 370. Only one site visit will be granted. If you wish to attend the site visit you must notify Susianne Patterson or Jean Hinton via e-mail at Susianne.Patterson@offutt.af.mil or jean.hinton@offutt.af.mil or fax at 402-294-0430, by 3:00pm (CST), 2 August 2004. Please provide names of all the individuals that will be attending. Those contractors who are unable to get access to on base must bring their valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration for a base pass if necessary.
