Description

You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-L, Emily Springer, Contract Specialist, FAX number 256-842-7629, email emily.springer@redstone.army.mil. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX4C0454AX, NSN: 1615-01-391-4398, PN: 145R2003-10 applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, delivery to Texarkana, TX.. The nature of this contractual action shall be a modification to contract DAAH23-02-D-0307 with Boeing Helicopter. This contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract. This action shall be added to years 3-5 of this contract. Quantity ranges for year three shall be 1/5 2. Quantity ranges for years four and five shall be 1/50. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 330 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Required delivery without First Article Testing is 220 DACA. Required delivery with Alternate II is 275 DACA. This item is restricted to Boeing Helicopter, Cage Code: 77272, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, a nd manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for a ward. Firms that recognize and con produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/c mo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. NOTES: 22, 23, and 26.
