Description

Testing, maintenance and minor repairs to various overhead wet-pipe sprinkler water-deluge and under-wing Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) fire extinguishing systems in aircraft hangar bays, and miscellaneous pre-action sprinkler systems. Includes approximately 5 deluge systems, 40 AFFF systems and 6 pre-action systems. Services to include a base year period of performance with provisions for 4 - one year option periods. UFC 3-600-02, United Facilities Criteria Operation and Maintenance: Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems, 01 January 2001, applies.
