Description

Provide all labor, equipment, material, tools, and qualified supervision to Renovate/Relocate NHCU, Project No. 585-332, at VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Michigan. Project is for the renovation of approximately 31,954 SF space for a 48 bed Nursing Home Care Unit (NHCU). Work includes the renovation of the first floor west of Building 1 and the expansion (construction of new space) of Building 1. Work includes demolition, excavation for new construction, new concrete floors, walls, doors, windows, finishes, mechanical, fire protection, electrical, conveying and plumbing. Project Engineer is Russ Dieckman at (906) 774-3300, extension 32210. NAICS code is 236220. Estimated issue date is August 10, 2003. Estimated dollar range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. THIS SOLICITATION IS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR HUB-ZONE SMALL BUSINESS. Award is subject to availability of funds. This solicitation, except for drawings, will be issued and made available free of charge at the Department of Veterans Affairs Business Opportunities System (BOS) website: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov.
