- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F6LB0041130100 is a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for small businesses under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-2 dated 23 FEB 04. NAICS Code 541611. Place of Performance/FOB: Robins AFB, GA. Period of Performance 10 Aug 2004 for one year, with 4 annual options. Solicitation is to procure a firm fixed price contract for Advisory and Assistance, non-personal services, to include all labor, parts, tools, travel, and material necessary to perform Equipment Specialist support tasks for C-130 Aircraft directorate in accordance with the attached Performance Based Work Statement. Note: 2 contracts will be awarded for the identical Statement of Work (that is, 2 individuals will be contracted with to perform identical duties). Item 0001 is for labor services of one individual (1740 hrs per year); item 0002 is for reimbursement of travel expenses associated with the performance of 0001; and item 0003 is for data required per the DD Form 1423 attached to the PBWS. These 3 items are applicable to all periods of performance. Offerors shall propose an hourly rate for each period for item 0001 and, if separately priced, an annual firm fixed price for data, item 0003.
