Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center, Mission Support Division, Fort Leavenworth, KS, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with New Image Technologies, Inc., a small, woman owned, veteran owned, business, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, to u pdate and upgrade the existing CALL Request for Information (RFI) system. Tasks include but are not limited to updating the workflow software to the current version and executing an Internet based system with MS exchange on the server, Installing and configuring Indicium document management software, start THE AGENT as a servic e, enable Real time verification of roles, enable automatic reconnection of the workflow to MS Exchange, modify the - forwarded to backup - process making it visually obvious when the RFI has been forwarded to the designated backup person, disable delegate function, restrict attachment titles to 30 characters, alpha, dash, underline and numbers with notification when the person is not in compliance, enable one-step updating of incorrectly entered email addresses, enable automatic filling of alias field when updating email accounts, add APO and foreign addresses fields to XML form, expand EXTERNAL COMMENTS field to 4000 characters and create code that notifies action officer before closing that the 4000-character limit has been exceeded, create the ability to RESEND the RFI within 60 days, enable automatic propagation of system passwords within the administrative module, - Highlight - or otherwise make obvious the Internal Comments button when there are Internal comments, protect FOUO attachments by adding a s ign in feature for these documents on the web server, install and test an exact version of the RFI system on the SIPRNet, and using MS Word (latest version), create in 8 X 11 Booklet format formal documentation of the system in report format to include sou rce code. This report will explain what was requested (functional requirements), what was provided (functional and technical system design), include technical diagrams depicting which software is performing the function and functional diagrams that visual ly represent the actual workflow This is follow on contract to prior contracts relating to the same RFI system. The period of performance is seventy-five days from date of award. This announcement is for informational purposes only. No Solicitation is available. A determination by the government not to compete the proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive proc urement. The NAICS for this action is 541511. Any offerors with interest in providing the services must submit detailed information indicating the ability to meet the governments requirement. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All inquiries must be submitted in writing or electronically by 4:00 CST on 3 AUG 2004.
