Description
The Security Assistance Management Directorate, on behalf of the US Army, Communications-Electronic Command, is seeking a reliable source to provide Mine Detecting Sets, Associated Equipment, Spares, and Services to Foreign Military Sales Customers. The requirements include: (1) The production and delivery of AN-19/2 (AN-PSS-12) Mine Detecting Set and AN-19/2 (MIMID) Miniature Mine Detecting Set; (2)Mine Detecting Sets Training for Operator and Maintenance. CECOM does not have funding for R&D. Suppliers capable of furnishing the Mine Detecting Sets w/associated upgrades, CFE, spares, repair parts and special tools, training, publications, and support with an initial delivery to begin in less than six months of dates of award, must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM , ATTN: AMSEL-LC-SA-IEW (Al??????Velus A. Sneed), Building 1208W 3rd Floor, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as copies of purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor to the previous source (Schiebel, Inc.), test r esults, or a statement from the previous source demonstrating that the supplier can,in fact, supply the army with an unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable, or better, with the units from the previously supplied Mine Detecting Sets. Successful source may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the army. For more information contact Al??????Velus A.
