- NOTE THE CLOSING DATE FOR THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO AUGUST 9, 2004. This requirement is for a Cam and (2) Bushings. The Cam and Bushings are used on the Aerial Refueling Store (ARS). The Government is looking to purchase a quantity of 115 each, with No Option. A qty of (5) will be part of First Article Testing and if accepted will become part of the deliverables. Delivery for the first article test units is FOB destination to Patuxent River, MD, 30 days after date of contract, with best commercial packaging and packing. Delivery for the production units is FOB Destination to Orange Park, FL, 2Weeks after first article acceptance, with best commercial packaging and packing. Final inspection and acceptance by the Government will be at destination. Specifications for the Cams and Bushings are subject to Export Control regulations and will only be released to firms who are certified with the DLSC for receipt of Military Critical Technical Data. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst plans to issue SOLICITATION NUMBER N68335-04-T-0073 on or about approximately 7/12/ 2004. The solicitation document will appear on the NAVAIR home page www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. However, the specifications will be mailed separately to certified requestors. No drawings will be posted on the Navair home page. This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. It is requested that all interested parties submit a current completed and certified DD Form 2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement) to NAWCADLKE Contracting Office. Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements apply. Contractors must be CCR registered.
