Description

Pre-Solicitation--IFB N68711-04-B-7725, REPLACE ASPHALT, TENTH STREET, DEL VALLE TO BROWN AND OTHER BASE-WIDE ROAD REPAIRS (R18-03) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision to REPLACE ASPHALT, TENTH STREET, DEL VALLE TO BROWN AND OTHER BASE-WIDE ROAD REPAIRS including, but not limited to: demolition; minor earthwork for subgrade adjustment and pavement support; asphalt pavement repairs; minor concrete pavement repair; and, incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. CCR Web site: www.ccr.gov; request form at 1-800-334-3414. Specifications & Drawings available on the Internet Site on or about 19 August 2004. Site Visit 10:00 AM, local time, 02 September 2004. Only one site visit will be offered. Meet at the ROICC Office, Bldg. 1138T1. Bid Opening 3:00 PM, local time, 20 September 2004. Duration of contract 90 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. NOTE: Bids submitted in response to this advertisement will be evaluated in compliance with FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns (Jan 1999), which is applicable to this solicitation. NAICS Code 237310/SIC Code 1611. The related Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation?s plans and specifications.
