Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN is seeking potential sources to provide research and development, engineering services, limited manufacturing, and program support of numerous sponsors including, but not limited to: United States Marine Corps (USMC), National Defense University (NDU), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and the National Security Agency (NSA). Technology areas to be supported include, but are not limited to: collaborative computing; information sharing to establish virtual environments for rapid deployment; rapid development and deployment of information; training technologies; basic research and support in the area of information technologies; and basic research in the area of materials, composite materials and lightweight materials for systems and subsystems. The successful contractor will also perform structured engineering trade studies, develop eng ineering total cost of ownership analysis tools, and leverage technologies from other Government organizations and programs in direct support of the activities under an anticipated Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Programs to be supported include: Configuration and Technical Notification Program (CaTNP), Global Logistics Research and Integration Program (GLRIP), Defense Joint Command and Control (DJC2) Program, and On-Demand Manufacturing (ODM)/Strategic Materiel Sourcing (SMS). Recent experience in supporting these programs is essential to meeting the Government?s requirements.
