- Description
- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis Multi-Axis Control Software from LMS North America, 1050 Wilshire Drive, Suite 250, Troy, MI 48084. These software components will be used for multi-axis testing of missiles and explosive components. LMS North America is the sole source for this purchase because these specialized components are an upgrade for an existi ng software suite and compatibility is critical. The order shall be firm fixed. FOB Destination shall apply. The quotation number is N00178-04-Q-1053. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be utilized for this procurement. This procurement is DO priority rated. The NAICS code is 511210 and the size standard is 100. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
