Description
?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport anticipates awarding a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Completion contract for the upgrade of the type 18 periscope rotary joint. The base contract requirement shall be for an upgraded rotary joint in accordance with the Statement of Objectives. Option one shall be for a production level drawing package. Option two shall be for life cycle testing, disassembly, inspection, analysis, application of lessons learned if applicable and refurbishment of rotary joint. Delivery shall be FOB destination within 15 months after contract award. Options shall be exercised within 15 months of contract award. The Government shall award a contract or multiple contracts utilizing best value tradeoff criteria of technical merit and cost. Technical merit shall be comprised of Technical Approach Technical Capability and Past Performance. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
