Description
This sources sought announcement is published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of providing the draft requirements described herein. NAVOCEANO requires on-call support, to include supplies, maintenance, repair, and installation, as needed, for Westinghouse Security Electronics (WSE) and Automated Access Control System (AACS) equipment located at the Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS. The contractor shall (1) troubleshoot system malfunctions, (2) reconfigure the existing system to meet changing security needs, (3) install systems/components as needed, (4) update existing system to provide state-of-the-art performance using contractor provided parts, (5) conduct alarm system tests for proper operation. The automated access systems consist of, but are not limited to, the following main components: Airtech AP669 360 degree motion detectors, Sentrol 2707A balanced magnetic switch, Bogen GS150 150 watt 70 volt line amplifier, Airtech AP-750 curtain motion detector, IEI 212I indoor and IEI 212E outdoor programmable keypad, WSE 2814 and 2815 card readers, WSE 3018 and WSE 3718 power supply, Moose CH12AC 12 volt DC power supply, and WSE 818SC access controller. Contractor must have extensive knowledge of alarm, access control and sound masking systems with a minimum of five (5) years experience with Secure Data alarm monitoring equipment and Westinghouse Security Electronics Access Control Systems. Contractor must have the knowledge required for support and utilization of WSE 5850 controller software. A security clearance to the level of SECRET is required. Response time for regular maintenance/service calls shall be within 2 days and for urgent maintenance/service calls within 12 hours after notification from Government representative. Normal working hours are 0800 ? 1700 Monday ? Friday. Other than normal working hours shall include holidays and weekends. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Quote. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought, are strictly voluntary. Contractors who believe they possess the expertise and experience shall submit related qualifications and technical capabilities electronically to berryk@navo.navy.mil. Response must indicate the business size and must be submitted by 05 Aug 2004. All documentation shall become the property of the government.
