Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F1222M41550500 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquis ition Circular 2001-08. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 336330 and business size is 750 employees. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price purchase order utilizing simplified commercial acquis ition procedures under Full and Open competition. This requirement is for: 15 each Lightweight Drawbars for the MHU-141 and MHU-110 munitions trailers, mfg part number: 3528. The offeror shall include descriptive literature such as specifications, broc hures or other manufacturing information that fully describes the item if not the suggested manufacturer and part number. This item is to be delivered FOB Destination within 30 - 45 days ARO to the following address: 149 MXOF/MXOP, 1493 Billy Mitchell Blv d, Bldg 968, Lackland AFB, TX 78236. The following provisions are included in this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, Commercial (Jan 2004). The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the soli citation is the lowest priced. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (Jan 2004); a completed signed copy of provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any quotation. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items (Oct 2003); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Apr 2004).
