- Description
- Red River Army Depot intends to issue a commercial item Request for Quote (RFQ) resulting in a requirements type purchase order for track block rubber in support of the track rebuild program. Contract period will be 12 months after contract award, w ith one option year. Items required are T-107 ground side track block - estimated 180,000 ea; T-107 wheel side block - estimated 180,000 ea; and T-142 wheel side track block - estimated 20,000 ea. Compounds utilized must be 10A and 14L. The compound fo rmulations will be provided after receipt of a nondisclosure statement. Samples for first article testing (FAT) will be required. 5 ea blocks of each sample will be required for the FAT as cited in MIL-DTL-11891G. The Request for Quote will be available for download from the Red River Army Depot procurement website at https://www.redriver.army.mil/contract.htm, on or about 9 Aug 04. Firms downloading the RFQ are asked to notify William Horton at wlhorton@redriver-ex.army.mil for inclusion on a mailing l ist to ensure notification of any future amendments.
