Description
?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI has a requirement for the following TOMAHAWK Composite Capsule Launching System Loading and Handling Equipment: Quantity of nine (9) MK 152 Mod 0 Container Lifting Sling (P/N 5167256) and one (1) First Article Acceptance Testing for a total quantity of ten (10) units; Quantity of nine (9) MK 157 Lift & Tilt Sling (P/N JCM-14748) and one (1) First Article Acceptance Testing for a total quantity of ten (10); Quantity of nine (9) MK 176 Hook Adapter (P/N 6213621) and one (1) First Article Acceptance Testing for a total quantity of ten (10); Quantity of nine (9) MK 165 Pendant Sling (P/N 6213750) and one (1) First Article Acceptance Testing for a total quantity of ten (10); Quantity of nineteen (19) 4-way Solenoid Valve (P/N JCM-16320) and one (1) First Article Acceptance Testing for a total quantity of twenty (20). Drawings will be provided as an attachment with the solicitation. First Article Testing can be waived if the firm has successfully manufactured the item previously. The First Article Test items shall be available 180 days after award. Production item delivery shall be available 30 days after first article approval. Delivery is FOB Destination, Newport, RI. The Government intends to award a single contract on a firm fixed price basis using the procedures under FAR Part 13 for simplified acquisition procedures. This Procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS Code is 332999, Standard Size is 500 Employees. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
