- Description
- The Air Force intends to award a competitive purchase order for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES, to be set aside for 8(A) companies, to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK to dismantle/repair/replace and prime/paint four (4) Defraction Fencing located at building 3507. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 16 August 04. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this synopisi. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
