Description: Sole Source Contract Modification. This is notice of the United States Army Yuma Proving Grounds (USAYPG) intent to negotiate a contract modification on a sole source basis with Copestone Resources LLC., 2318 Madelyn Circle, Tucson, AZ 85712 under e xisting contract number DATM07-02-C-0033. Contract DATM07-02-C-0033 currently provides for research, development, deployment, software, documentation, testing and support for the Developmental Test Command, (DTC) Virtual Proving Ground, (VPG) effort, commonly known as the Integrated Test Management Framework (ITMF). Work to date under the contract has provided the initial stages of a functioning ITMF software system that is now in the latter stages of development and must be continued by Copestone to avoid a substantial duplication of cost and time. The anticipated modifi cation is a 9 month extension to the existing effort for continuation of the required support and will be focused on the DTCs requirement to interconnect multiple installations. While the coding, programs and related equipment developed to date are govern ment assets, they are in an incomplete state of development and much of the knowledge, relative to the development of this software, resides within the personnel of Copestone Resources LLC. The NAICS code of 541511 with a size standard of $21 million app lies to the anticipated action. See Note 22.
