Description

Solicitation W15P7T-04-R-A610 is for 14 Each, Diesel Engines (30 KW), Part Number 72-2206, NSN: 2815-00-501-7001,. The Government does not currently possess the necessaary technical drawings to enable competition for the above item. Tech Supply & Ser vices,Inc. Leesville, LA. is the only source that possesses the capability and knowledge required to satisfy the Government requirements. This is an approved sole source acquisition with the above firm authorized under 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1),only one responsi ble source, and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. The U S Army Communications Electronic Command (CECOM) has established the IBOP Website to allow electronic transimittal of Requests For Proposals (RFPs). All interested parties in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send, and receive information from the IBOP at (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil) The solicitation will be posted to this same site. Upon access ing this webpage, click on CECOM Business Opportunities. You may access potential Business Opportunities by simply typing guest for the login ID and password. Registration for user ID and Password will only be necessary when you are considering the submiss ion of CECOM proposals through the IBOP. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) to receive contract award or payment. Point of contact is Art Greenspan,(732) 427-1415.
