Description
The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a sole source delivery order to IPI GrammTech, Ltd, 12677 Silicon Dr, San Antonio, TX 78249. The procurement is to obtain continuing software maintenance of Informatica sof tware for a period of four (4) months. This software provides the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for the Executive Information and Decision Support (EI/DS) Program Office (located in the Tricare Management Activity) data warehous e (MHS Data Repository) and its associated data marts. The EI/DS direct care operational architecture ingests over 1 billion health care records each year. These records are transmitted via dozens of data feeds from over 20 disparate systems and non-syst em sources for the purpose of centralizing MHS health record data storage. IPI GrammTech is currently maintaining all EI/DS Informatica licenses. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. There is no seperate solicitation for this i ntent. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the estabished timeframe are invited to submit written notification to the Contract Specialist within fifteen calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Suporting e vidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist at: cynthia.lattimore@amedd.army.mil. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract. See Numbered Note 22.
