Description

USNS John Lenthall (T-AO 189), 30-day pierside availability (07 Feb 05 - 09 Mar 05), to be performed at contractor's facility. Solicitation is scheduled to be issued 30 Sep 04. Major work, at this time, includes: USCG annual inspection and certification items Main Engine 12,000 hr. inspection & repairs Geislinger coupling overhaul Reduction gear inspection Ballast tank re-coating Potable hot water tank replacement Sewage treatment plant re-coating Ventilation system cleaning Misc. insulation and lagging repairs Misc. valve, pump, and piping repairs Misc. transalt accomplishment Offer area is East and Gulf coasts. Otherwise successful offeror must possess Agreement for Boat Reapir with NAVSEA in order to recieve award.
