Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, on a sole source basis a time-and-material type award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, an award to Harvard University, 180 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115 a project entitled ?Conference on Future Directions for the National Health Accounts. The purpose of this project is to bring together policy and health statistics experts to provide evaluation of current health account structure, estimation methodology and health account products, and to explore future directions for development of health accounts to meet the needs of policy makers. The contractor shall 1) plan and organize a conference on the future directions for the nation?s health accounts, 2) identify a group of experts in the areas of national, state and international health accounts and health policy, commission papers form these experts on health accounts to meet future health policy needs, 3) organize papers from experts for publications, 4) prepare a summary of the conference and a list of recommendations for change. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, which shall be considered by the agency in accordance with the requirements in the synopsis.
