Description
The Program Support Center has a requirement for the Office on Womens Health to select contractors, to provide professional services in developing and implementing a HIV/AIDS/STDs prevention education program for young minority women ages 18-25 years attending Tribal Colleges and Universities. The primary intent of this requirement is to increase HIV prevention knowledge and reduce the risk of contracting HIV among young minority women. High prevalent areas are Midwest, Southwest, Mideast, and Western regions. This requirement is being solicited and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THIS IS NOT A GRANT. The award will be a contract, i.e. purchase order. The period of performance shall be for a 12 month period from the date of award. The Government anticipates making multiple awards from this solicitation, not to exceed 2 awards. Only one award will be given per city and/or state. This is a small business set aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 624190 and size standard is $6 million. In accordance FAR 5.102(a)(1) the solicitation will be made available electronically on or about 15 days from the date of this publication. The internet address for downloading the solicitation is http://fedbizopps.gov. Any notification of changes to the solicitation (amendments) will be posted on the internet. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information regarding this solicitation.
