- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for an A-10 FULL MISSION TRAINER (FMT) INSTRUCTOR. Services include, but are not limited to scheduling and conducting FMT instruction in support of Upgrade Training (UT), Continuation Training (CT) and Mission Qualification Training (MQT) to pilots to accomplish required event objectives and specific event tasks; provide Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) instruction as required. The contractor shall furnish adequate supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform all the services contemplated under this contract. The location of the training site is at Pope AFB, NC. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request For Proposal, source selection to be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. A firm-fixed price type contract will result from this solicitation. Estimated Request for Proposal Issue Date: 04 Aug 04. Estimated Proposal Closing Date: 07 Sep 04. This will be an electronic solicitation release. No hard copies will be mailed. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.eps.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to current information. The anticipated performance period will be a twelve month base year with four twelve month option periods. This acquisition will be conducted using Full and Open competition procedures. In order to be eligible for award, registration in the Central Contractor Registration database is required. To register, please go to http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is section 611512, Flight Instruction. The small business size standard is $21.5 million.
