- Description
- The work requires the development and submission of a Treatment Plan and Schedule to accomplish the project objectives and to organize and direct all of the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The resulting contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and other incidentals necessary to complete the work. The Treatment Plan and Schedule will be agreed upon by both parties and incorporated into the contract. The Treatment Plan shall include as a minimum the following items: Product Removal - felling, skidding and decking of merchantable timber and biomass material, slashing operations, hauling operations, and all equipment involved. Road Maintenance - blading specifications, temporary road construction specifications, and equipment involved. Safety Plan - to include traffic control and identification of hazards. Fire Prevention Plan - prevention and control of fires, detailed list of personnel and equipment. Slash Plan - equipment and techniques used to meet slash specifications. Schedule for completion of project objectives. The project area contains an estimated 32 acres of sawlog/post and pole material removal on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management's Lander Field Office, Wyoming.
