- UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE is seeking to lease approximately 1600 square feet of Interior space that may be either in an existing building or space to be built for the Chinchilla Main Post Office. Preferred area located between the 100 and 800 block of Rt. 6 (Northern Blvd) in South Abington Township, Pennsylvania. The building site must accommodate and be suitable for a 1600 net interior square foot facility Including parking and maneuvering space for 17 vehicles. Building / remodeling? requirements shall be in accordance with the prototype plans and specifications SSBD #20, modified as adapted to site by an approved project architect / engineer as listed in the solicitation documents. The property must be suitably zoned or capable of being re-zoned for postal use and must meet applicable USPS Handicap Accessibility Standards at time of occupancy. Proposed locations? or buildings outside the preferred area may be considered if they offer superior economic or operational advantages. Offerer must own or control the site and must state the lease rate. The United States Postal Service reserves the right to negotiate with any and all offerers for lease or lease wI construction.
