Description

The Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests plan to contract for Roller Drum Chopping on the Enoree Ranger District, Union County, South Carolina, Sumter National Forest. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and incidental services necessary to perform roller drum chopping site preparation as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). These services are to be performed at various locations on the Enoree Ranger District. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards defined in the solicitation. Quotes should be mailed to: USDA Forest Service, Francis Marion and Sumter NFs, Attn: Lynda H. Hansen, 4931 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29212-3530. Quotes are due by 4:30 p.m. local time on August 30, 2004. Questions/comments should be directed to Lynda H. Hansen at (803) 561-4015 or by e-mail at lhhansen@fs.fed.us. THIS SOLICITATION IS AMENDED TO CORRECT PAGE 2 WITH THE CORRECT COMPARTMENTS, STANDS AND ACRES. THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION HAD A TOTAL OF 284 ACRES. REMOVE PAGE 02 OF THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION AND INSERT AMENDMENT 01 WITH 380 ACRES. CLOSING DATE HAS NOT BEEN EXTENDED.
