Description

PERFORMANCE DECISION ON STREAMLINED COMPETITION IT Data Center Operations under Reference Nr. N04CW05 A-76 FINAL DECISION- This is an announcement of results of the recent Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, streamlined competition of the Information Technology Data Center Operations function that included but where not limited to backup services, computer facility management and maintenance services, monitor and maintain the Clinical Center mainframe computer, printing services (i.e. manuals, payrolls), IT support for NIH users, shipping services, hardware/software testing and installations, acceptance test services, providing technical expertise at technical committees, and maintaining procedural, technical, and software manuals. NIH has completed a streamlined competition for Information Technology Data Center Operations in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. On July 26, 2004, the streamlined competition form (SLCF) was certified by the agency and the Contracting Officer, indicating the study completion. As a result of this study, performance of these functions will remain in-house. Based on this decision, the Contracting Officer will execute a Letter of Obligation (LOO) with the senior manager responsible for performance of the function. In accordance with revised OMB Circular A-76, effective May 29, 2003, no party may contest any aspect of this streamlined competition.
