Description

The Department of Veterans Affair, VISN 7, Augusta, GA intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Shepeard Community Blood Center for estimated quantities red blood cells and blood products for the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. The NACIS code is 621991 a size standard $7.5 millions. The contract period will be for October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 with two option years. This Notice of intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their experience in providing these products, to the Contracting Officer via email or fax at 334-395-4070. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
