Description

This will be a competitive set-a-side under the Small Business Administration?s 8(a) program to eligible 8(a) concerns Janitorial Services at U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC), Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. The NAICS Code 561720, with a size standard of $14 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about 5 July 2004 with a planned closing date of 7 September 2004. No further notice will be made. A guided site visit is planned for 24 August 2004, detailed information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation. The period of performance is planned for 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005, with four (4) one year option periods from 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2009. All interested and capable 8(a) firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from FedBizOps? electronic Posting system at www.eps.gov under Vendor, DHS, United States Coast Guard, Commander (fcp-2) USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Alameda, CA. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All eligible firms may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. Telephone, written, or E-mail requests for a hard copy of the solicitation will not be accepted, the solicitation must be down-loaded from the EPS web site. This procurement is being awarded under the authority of FAR Subpart 12, ?Commercial Items? and FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
