- Description
- This is a commercial item acquisition. The Solicitation, Evaluation, and Award procedures of FAR Part 13.106-1, 13.106-2, and 13.106-3 are being used. The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to purchase the following: Centrifugal Pump 100 GPM, Brand Name, ?Aurora 361-AB-DFM-SP? or equal, estimated quantity 2 per year, except for option year two when the estimated quantity is four per year. Centrifugal Pump 35 GPM, Brand Name, ?Aurora 321-AB-DFM-SP?, or equal, estimated quantity is 2 per year, except for option year two when the estimated quantity is four per year. Centrifugal Pump 10 GPM @ 40 Feet, Brand Name, ? Aurora 321-AB? or equal, estimated quantity is two per year except for option year two when the estimated quantity is four per year. Centrifugal Pump 10 GPM @ 50 PSI Feet, Brand Name, ? Aurora 321-AB-DFM-SP? or equal, estimated quantity is two per year except for option year two when the estimated quantity is four per year. Each Pump being purchased hereunder shall be provided with Commercial Data for Provisioning (Base Year only), and Commercial Warranties. This acquisition is being conducted on a Brand Name or Equal basis. A requirements contract will be awarded as a result of this competition. The award will provide for a base and four one-year options. The estimated quantities per year are estimates only and the estimates are subject to change. The details of the salients will be included in RFQ HSCG40-04-Q-40010. A complete description of the contract line items and times of delivery will be included in the RFQ. All responsible sources for the Brand Name or Equal items are invited to submit a quotation/proposal, which shall be considered by the US Coast Guard. All technical data required to respond to the solicitation will be furnished as part of the RFQ. A solicitation is forth coming and will be released on or about 09 August 2004.
