Description

The Department of Commerce, NOAA, NWS, intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the American Meteorological Society (AMS) to produce a scientific publication (book) aimed at specific, professional users in the field of meteorology. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Companies may submit a written capability statement in regard to the above requirement with cost information within 15 days from the posting of this notice. However, the determination whether to open the requirement for competition, or not, is solely within the Government's discretion. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000. See Note 22.
